Great tube!
Bought one to replace in my little Bantamp Zombie which was using a Ruby 12AX7.
Gain, crunch, base all sound a little more obvious, however treble was way more obvious with the PM 12AX7, it could reach levels my Ruby couldn’t allowing me to go further and leave behind the mid saturated tone the Ruby had and yet go back to it by scooping the treble. I am really impressed this tube could compete and for me out perform a High end Tube.
It’s really opened up the little Bantamp which is is only a preamp valve with solid state power. I can only imagine how good they will sound in an full Valve state Situation!

Didn't fit and fell apart in seconds
0 of 1 found this helpful First of the two didn't fit and in trying lifted the edge of the top film which pulled the print off, second logo only just fitted with persuasion but the top film pulled off in seconds and with it went the print. Although cheap kinda not worth it when they are so badly made. Would rather get one better quality then 2 bad for the price.

Very impressed
I bought these to use in a guitar build, eventually I was going to put some active pickups in but wanted it up and running sooner. Forget the active pickups I am so impressed with these, firstly they have a warm crunch which is fantastic for playing blues and right through to metal. I have two other guitars with active pickups and they now sound empty and holo compared the these budget pickups, I will be replacing all my pickups with these as for the price and tone I am shocked by how powerful they are. Plus they look awesome with the matte black finish.
