Beware of box contents not matching images on box.
1 of 1 found this helpful Nesco redesigned these trays at some point (I don't know exactly when) and I think that the newer design is inferior to the old one. Unfortunately, the packaging wasn't redesigned at the same time so there are some boxes which appear to be the older design, but which contain the newer design. As a result, if you're looking for the older design, it's not enough to know what the box looks like; you have to actually open the package.

So useful you'll want more.
My only regret with this product is that I didn't order more of them with the initial order. They're perfect for their application and are incredibly useful.

Good For What it Is
I got this drive to serve as a size upgrade for an existing TimeMachine upgrade drive. That required transferring several hundred gigabytes of information from that drive to this one. Since this drive is USB 2 or FireWire 400, that process ended up taking quite some time. Given that the drive the data was coming from was also USB 2, that was a time commitment I couldn't avoid, so it made sense for me to save some money by going with the slower drive. However, having been through the process, I would definitely recommend going with a faster drive (FireWire 800, USB 3, or Thunderbolt) if your existing hardware will support it.
