Gun.Smoke & 1943 are the best shooters on the NES, PICK ONE UP.

As far as rail shooters I don't think it gets more interesting than this. When most are either stuck in deep space or against the axis powers of WWII, Gun.Smoke puts in the old west taking down a gang of outlaws. Although there are no "Power-Ups" for your weapon you can purchase new weapons to use from towns folk giving a bit of strategy to how to go through each level. Very faithful to original arcade, though shorted. One of the best on the NES.
