Seller helped with offer discount that did not work when buying it . The Line 6 X3 Pro unit works well but one of the rack "ears" was bent. The box had no dent marks, so it was more than likely done prior to shipping. Should have been called out in the listing. I would still buy from the seller again.

Really quite an incredible little box.
I have owned the XR18 for about 3 weeks now and have used it at a few of our practices. I have always used analog boards, outboard effects/compressors, EQ's, gates, snakes, etc, and have lugged this stuff around for years to gigs. This literally takes the place of ALL of that and it does it well. The Midas preamps (to me) sound better than my Presonus studio grade preamps - much more clarity and liveliness. I was a little skeptical about my ability to control the mixer through my 10 inch android tablet, but I got used to it quickly. The software is intuitive and if you know analog boards with effects sends/returns, groups, and aux's, you will pick it up quickly. The greatest thing for us as a band is the ability to use the XAir Q, which allows independent control of each of the six out's so that you can have custom mixes for EACH monitor that can be controlled by each musician. Connectivity has been flawless so far using androids and a PC This is going to majorly simplify our live setup.

A great bargain - when you can get it for a bargain price.
I have had this unit now for approximately 3 years. It has worked excellently. I am able to remove all through hole devices easily. Parts are readily available and are not expensive. When I purchased the unit, I most definitely paid under $220. I am now seeing the unit going for well over $1000 and I think this is a little bit ridiculous. If you can get it for what I paid for it or less, you would certainly be getting a bargain for a good device. I do not think it is worth a thousand dollars plus however. For that price, you could go for 1 of the name brands. 1 of the only drawbacks that I see with this unit is it is somewhat difficult to load the glass solder chamber back in to the device when she cleaned it however this is a small drawback.
