Better than kit lens
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought it to act as a 50mm lens for my Rebel T4i. Great decision! Sharp (when accurate. But I shoot manual any way.) Lightweight. It's plastic so have to be careful with how you package it. Nice shallow depth of field. Love that it opens to f2. Sharper and clearer than my kit lens. The autofocus is wonky at times but I just may need a little more practice with it.
