Works as good or better than the brand name one of replaced
1 of 1 found this helpful We replaced a seized badger 3/4hp with this unit. It's quieter and runs smoother without shaking my whole countertop when in use.
Comes with everything you need to connect to both single and dual sinks. Not sure why so many said there is no place to attach the dishwasher discharge hose. There are two ports for it! One is located on the disposal itself. The small port near the top. It unscrews so you can knockout or drill out the block off plug in the center. The other is the smaller port on the top of the discharge pipe included in the box. I've added a pic to show where to connect the dishwasher discharge to the smaller port. Remember to drill out the block off inside first! It also comes with plugs to block off any ports not used. It's far more complete than anything sold in the big orange or blue stores!
Just remember, if your not going to use the air switch, you'll still need to hook it up and give it a push just once to set the disposal to its run position. This way it will work off your wall mounted switch.
Brand name lasted 7 years, but cost 3 times as much. If I get 3 years out of this one it's worth it!

Genuine SB item. Awesome deal. It comes painted in a semi gloss black instead of the textured paint that is meant to resemble powder coating. I like this finish better.
