Solved all my batteries issues with older DeWALT tools
2 of 2 found this helpful Got this to upgrade my 18v*, wish I had done it sooner. I can saws-all or drill all day on one charge that stays cool. I used to go through three 18v, that would also get hot.
Note: you need a separate adapter if you use this with the 18v line. Do not store batteries connected to that adapter, it will trickle drain them too far, and possibly damage them.
