Old but worth it if you find cheap one!!
The base DECT function works very well.
Since it is the same size as Cisco ATA and much the same firmware it works very well.
The phones are a bit delicate since they are now 10years old. Spent a fair amount of time cleaning contacts which were corroded and making up new power supplies since originals were missing.
Much better than Gigaset phones I was using.
It does have some limitations like using analogue phone answering machine along with DECT phones. I was overreaching. I could simply buy a standard analogue phone set.. but this came up so cheap it was a bargain. Just don't pay too much for what is a really old unit and much older phones.

For quick closeup they are great
These are not for doing great closeup work.. buy a macro lens or tube extensions for that.. it is when you need to snap something close up .. colour was fine.. the distortion at x10 makes it nearly useless.. and x1 is probably not enough to do much.. so of the set x2 and x4 are the ones you will probably use.

Great for the DIYer
This is a box for the DIYer.
They are at min 7 years old now.
I bought this one as failed.. it arrived working.. but could fail again very soon.
There is a fix.. oven bake the board. Google for more info.
For Mac users who are on older OS and want a cheap network target for Time Machine.. it works great and I expect to keep it running a few more years.
Note I prefer this model over the next AC model, A1470 which are built so poorly it is difficult to work on them. These are build solidly and easy to work on.
You can also put up to 8TB disk in it.
So have fun. Don't pay too much.
