Affordable alternative
1 of 1 found this helpful These shifters are great for someone converting an old bike from downtube shifting to 7-speed brake/shift levers. Everything is straightforward. Microshift has a YouTube video and a PDF with instructions on its website. However, I noticed that I must slightly push in the large shift paddle before pushing in the small paddle for proper shifting from a larger freewheel cog to a smaller freewheel cog. Your result may vary, but it's something to keep in mind if you have shift issues. Best for larger hands. Comfortable fit. No rattling.

Fits perfectly
There isn't much nice I can say about these hub axle sets, mainly because the races are as soft as butter. However, what else is there? Good races are only available for high-end hubs like
Ultegra or better. I just wanted an exact replacement for my hub, which this is.
