Slip 2000 gun lube review

Recommended by a friend who is a retired engineer turned armorer. After cleaning a gun I soaked the parts in Slip2000 for a few days. Wipe off excess and reassembled. Slip 2000 does gum up but appears to bind with the metal. Gun actions are noticeably smoother even after Slip 2000 is no longer evident on the metal surfaces.
