Flyye Long Knife Pouch Molle Pouch Military Bag Army Combat Gear C022 Multicam

Great pouch and construction but NOT Molle compatible.

I recently bought this knife pouch to hold a 6" blade survival knife in a multicam pouch that could also hold a sharpening stone. Well, for $50 I got a good build-quality pouch that came quickly and is solid and well-made. It fits my knife well although since the whole build quality is fabric I'm worried that constant re-sheathing of a sharp knife will cut the Cordura at the top. There is one massive issue - this is NOT a Molle set-up and it should not be advertised as such. With that said it is solid, and has a host of straps, clips and velcro and it fits nicely and securely onto a wide belt. The rig on the back though is bizarre, with velcro straps that are over-engineered and don't make sense unless you are connecting them to a pole or gun barrel as they are round - similar in a way to velcro that goes around tent poles if ever you have seen them. The front pouch section that holds the sharpening stone is also over-engineered with a heavy clasp - a simple push-stud, velcro or button would have done the job much better to be honest. Beyond all that it is a good, heavy construction and will last a lifetime I think. It is a quiet sheath for a knife BUT the velcro at the top means it is not a silent knife sheath as the velcro is noisy. All-in-all a good sheath BUT it is not Molle and it is heavily over-engineered. What were Flyye thinking? I would LOVE to see how they use the velcro straps on the back... :-)

One of the world's best knives.

Excellent construction, this knife is a wonderful addition to any person's kit whether in the military, for trekking, survival, bugout or just as a useful tool for physical people like farmers. Everything about this knife screamed professional construction and attention to detail. Highly recommended, and a great price for such a professional piece of kit... The kydex sheath is thick and takes this item to the next level.
