Works great after some configuring.
Works great for capturing video. I had to buy an HDMI splitter from Amazon because of the annoying HDCP protection, but otherwise it works great. You might have to mess around in the official AverMedia software it working properly, even if you plan on using OBS. For example, it would not record any sound in OBS until I tried to record with the AverMedia software, but sound worked fine in OBS afterwards. In addition, even with an HDMI splitter, the capture card still detected the HDCP, and I had to disable HDCP detection in the AverMedia software. (You still need the splitter, because if you turn off HDCP detection without it, the video will be a garbled mess.)
