Martingale buckle
The buckle allows the collar to be properly adjusted, one time,, no longer necessary to enlarge the collar in order to remove it.

A lesson learned
After following the instructions and "helpful" tips this "refurbished" machine is still hard to start, every time. Yes, once it's running it definitely does the job. The air filter cover tends to fly off during use, the knob that secures it to the machine stripped out and according to the Sears website a replacement is not available. A lesson learned, if you are buying a "refurbished" anything before you shell out any money you find out if parts are available.
