Sorry Eveready and Duracell, but this flashlight is putting you out of business.
0 of 1 found this helpful If you already own an 18V Porter Cable battery and charger, then this is your flashlight.
This flashlight is used every night, and I don't have to worry about it running out of battery.
It is brighter and broader light than 90% of the flashlights out there because it has a big reflector, and doesn't need to be stingy with the battery power.
It won't fit the Porter Cable 20V batteries, just their 18V batteries.
You can set it on the floor, shelf or ground, and it won't tip over because the weight is at the bottom in the battery.
The handle is a comfortable pistol grip, and doesn't slide out of your hand.
Great value, and no need to buy new alkaline batteries.

Worked great.
Made the 4x4 Polaris run much better. Good value.

Reset my expectations.
I like that it doesn't need a separate 240volt booster pump, and dedicated PVC water line to the pool like my old polaris 280 does.
After the Leslie's salesman told me how great it was, I expected it to clean up my dirty pool after a rain storm. I was disappointed. The superfine filter plugs up after 20 minutes of cleaning, then it stops. I ended up taking it out of the pool 8 times, washing the filter out 8 times, unpluging and replugging it in 8 times, before the pool was clean again, each time with a few ounces of algea & dirt plugging it up. It also couldn't climbing my gunite walls all the way to the top, and the tires slip on the bottom too.
After using it a while, it now climbs all the way to the top of the water line. I now know to run the pool filter pumps when it cleans as it stirs up a lot of the debris, and the main filter can help clean that, meaning less times I have to clean the polaris filter. I also don't expect it to clean up a messy pool with out having to empty the filter a multiple times.
Overall I am happy that it does brushing, as I am tired of that chore. It does a light brushing, but done enough times it helps.
