Well worth it
This is a lovely clear phono stage which worked very well with my Denon DL110 cartridge on MM setting into a solid state power amp. When I switched to a 10 wpc valve amplifier output was too low so it was switched to the MC setting which made an improvement, better timbre, space and depth than through the MM/solid state combination. These days Iβm more interested in listening to music than hi fi and this phono stage with valve buffer suits me just fine
