Beautiful but delicate
Really love the fact that Rage decided to tackle a full house radio setup in a micro aircraft. I was fascinated with the flaps and the micro retracts. Honestly, the aircraft is pretty well made, considering it's a micro and weight and space for all those components is at a premium. However, being a micro requires a soft hand and a delicate touch. It absolutely will not handle much abuse. The retracts work flawlessly as long as you remember to set your throttle stick to the low( or off) position before you connect your flight battery. Otherwise, the gear will begin to cycle as you power up and they will be stripped. They won't work properly after that. The wing struts ( to conserve weight I'm sure) are very fragile, and care must be taken when handling them. The fuselage and wings are very well built for a micro, and should stand up to average day to day handling. But the tail surfaces are very light and fragile. Care must be taken not to bump or bang them into anything. A carbon fiber rod enhancement would be a worthwhile upgrade, length wise on the stabilizer. But it would require a minimum of adhesive and a very small diameter wire. This is not a" buyer beware" review, but rather a " be aware" review. The stagger wing is not a first time flyer type aircraft. However, a pilot with a couple of micros and a few flights under their belt would probably love this little biplane. Also, it should be noted that the flaps are automatically tied in to the retracts to allow for a more gentle landing speed while still judiciously using throttle to control your desent. All in all, I'm still very impressed with the Rage Beechcraft Staggerwing and would recommend it to anyone comfortable flying a multichannel aircraft.

Great replacement battery for out of production arf
I needed to replace the original battery in a air tech stealth. These were a respectable replacement. They take charge and operate very well. An excellent replacement!

Good reference material for scale model builders
I've used these squadron signal books for years to get the obscure but necessary details necessary to build a quality scale rc aircraft. They really provide a decent amount of detailed photos for the price. I highly recommend them!
