Better than highlights
1 of 1 found this helpful I used to use the original Brilliant Brunette & loved it. It was recommended to me by my hair dresser. I only stopped using it when she started giving me Rusk products (good but pricey). I saw this & had to try it. My hair is medium brown, darker underneath. I wanted to lighten it a bit because I think darker hair ages me. I've only used this once so far but I definitely noticed a difference. My hair was easier to comb through (it's long), shiny & a hint lighter/brighter. The more I use it the lighter it's supposed to be over time. Today is a hair washing day LOL. I'll probably wash my hair more often now to speed up the lightening process! Way cheaper than getting highlights & much more natural looking! Try it, you'll like it! No harsh smells & leaves my hair silky smooth. A+

CHI not 4 ME
5 of 5 found this helpful I spent months trying to decide which automatic hair curler I was going to buy. After reading umpteen reviews and watching umpteen YouTube videos on every automatic hair curler on the market, I finally decided to the CHI and got an excellent deal on eBay.
I'd watched so many women use this and read the directions, I couldn't wait to use it. Either get some life back in my hair with curls or cut it short. I really thought it would be easy and quick to get long bouncy beach waves. I was wrong about everything! The CHI is very awkward to hold, very heavy and too wide of a handle. It heated up very quickly which was good. But trying to grab 1/2" to 3/4" wide of hair is difficult. And trying to get that hair into the curler was near to impossible! The curler has to be held with a specific side to your head, the same side with the small cutout where you put your hair in. Trying to do this while looking into a mirror really threw me off. After about 6 tries to get hair in I finally did it, had it set on medium heat for 15 seconds, and although I could actually smell my hair burning I waited the whole 15 seconds. When I released the hair it was very hot with barely any curl at all. I would have done better with my old curling iron or plastic rollers. I continued to try and experimented with various temperature settings and the longer hold time which is 19 seconds. Every single time my hair got immediately tangled up inside the curler. I was terrified I would either burn my hair off or it would get so tangled in the machine I couldn't get it out and have to cut my hair out of it! Luckily that didn't happen but I did have to lose a bunch of hairs in the process. After maybe a total of 20 minutes I gave up completely. I don't know how others can use this. I don't know how they manage to get their hair into a small opening that's facing their hair and actually have the thing take hold of the hair. I definitely think it would work better if there were cutouts on both sides of the machine so you weren't forced to try to get hair in while having to work within the small opening with the sides in the way. This definitely is not for me and I'm extremely disappointed. If it weren't so heavy and awkward to hold, and I had three hands, I probably could have done it! Unfortunately, the seller doesn't accept returns, so I'll give it to someone more coordinated than me. But don't let my bad experience stop you from buying the CHI if that's what you've set your heart on, just be sure to get it somewhere that accepts returns, just in case.

Awesome product! My face loves it! Great value on eBay!
This is a great product from Britain that I was first introduced to about a year ago at a laser hair removal salon. You only have to use a very small amount to completely cover your face and neck, so even though I've been using it every day, there's still a bit left in my original bottle. I purchased another bottle on eBay because the price was too good to pass up (it sells for $49.00 on the Elemis website and even more if you buy it at a department store or boutique) and I didn't want to go a day without using it. It's the best facial wash product I've ever used, beating out familiar name brands from department stores or high end boutiques. It has a very mild and pleasant fragrance, and it does NOT irritate or "burn" your skin if you have an acne breakout or any type of cut/scrape or sensitive skin. I recommend using it this way, so as not to overuse or waste a drop of it, because you really need such a small amount to cover your entire face. It's very important to put it on DRY skin (after you've removed your makeup) or it will slide around your face and you won't get the full benefit. Pump a bit into your left palm and dip your right middle finger into it, picking up just a tiny bit. Then start anywhere on your face and apply it, and using a circular motion, spread it about. Continue to do this until your entire face is covered; but don't dilly dally or it may dry. Once your entire face (and neck if you wish) is covered and you've sufficiently worked it about in a circular motion, you can rinse it off with warm water, use a makeup sponge to remove most of it and then rise, or use a damp face cloth to remove, rinsing several times and then patting dry with a soft towel. This facial wash will leave your skin feeling clean, smooth and moisturized. Although it's touted to "slough" away dead skin and "resurfacing" is in its name, there are absolutely NO gritty particles of any kind in the cleanser; it's completely smooth, and your skin will feel completely smooth when you use it. You'll notice a difference the first time compared to anything else you've tried. I highly recommend this product and am SO happy that I found it on eBay at a tremendous savings.
