Pretty accurate but the content disappoints.
It is not better than expected. The whole book is the size of a large pamphlet or an article and does not really provide much more than a Wikipedia piece. But I did learn a little about Brigid from it. I was disappointed to not find anything much more detailed on the goddess Brigid being revered so long by so many that she eventually reached sainthood by the Catholic Church. If this were a Ph.D. dissertation, I don't think it would pass muster on the subject.

Great book for avid bird lovers and readers!
If you are a bird lover, as most of us are, and can read a lot of research data, there are wonderful anecdotes and stories justifying the title! I liked it enough to buy two extra copies so I could share the book with friends.
