The Phantom Of The Opera (DVD)

Haven't seen the show on the stage but thoroughly enjoyed this film. I've become a bit of a fan of Lloyd Webber. Seen a couple of his shows and the TV shows. This film shows so much more than can be seen on stage. The costumes were absolutely beautiful. Thought all the lead actors were brilliant too. Loved Minnie Driver and the young Emmy has a beautiful voice. Gerard Butler was something of a revelation! Bit like Ewan McGregor in Moulin Rouge. His voice was raw and very rock and he portrayed the Phantom to perfection, you really felt his isolation. I wanted to take him home! A very good buy and one I'd recommend to anyone. I loved it!
