Blocks some protocols
0 of 1 found this helpful The system worked fine until I got a Canon printer, which I believe uses the Bonjour protocol for communication. These powering sockets just don't support it. Sometimes it works for an hour, then the printer loses connectivity. Definitely the TP-Link because a direct connection to my router is fine. The internet is full of accounts of people struggling, of the latest firmware resolving this (no), and ultimately of people giving up.
Eventually binned them and switched to (slightly pricier) Devolo units - work fine.
