There was a 2 week delay with shipping due to the holidays and weather but the seller was very communicative otherwise. Item arrived packaged extremely well and is in pristine condition. I'm super happy and excited to replace my behemoth canon 7d with something lighter and snazzier. Well worth the wait. Thank you very much. :)

New Olympus VF-4 VF4 Electronic Viewfinder 4 Olympus Pen See compatible
    Jun 01, 2016
Fantastic addition to my Olympus OMD-EM5.
This viewfinder is magnificent and I truly hope it lasts. I removed one star for design flaws - this is a big improvement from previous versions of Olympus' Electronic Viewfinder, but still has some issues. the hinge and body should not be in plastic for this price, and the fastening mechanism whereby the viewfinder "clicks" shut is far to flimsy to rely upon. I will be using a small silicone band to keep it from popping open in the camera bag or elsewhere. This is also my reasoning for selecting "no" to the question "is it durable?" I suspect it will not be given the criticisms above but the visual quality and the functionality it brings to the way I like to shoot is worth the (much less than full) price I paid here.
Olympus Special Grip Strap GS-4 for use with HLD-6 Power Battery Holder Only
    Jun 01, 2016
I really wanted to like this product, but for Olympus it's a total miss.
This handle is flimsy, impossible to tighten properly to the camera or my hand. Because it uses a single strap tensioned around the top and bottom contact points, it is very wobbly regardless how tightly you pull it. The flap going over the back of my hand was designed for a gorilla. For a small camera, one might expect a strap more appropriate to a small hand, but this is not that strap. I don't think that the leather is likely to hold up long to heavy use, either. However, my biggest complaint is that attaching the handle makes it impossible to change the internal battery when attached to a HLD-6! Olympus should have put more into this design, I would have paid 3x the price had it worked. The seller is great, so if you think this might work for you, my criticism is not for the seller!

    OLYMPUS HLD-6 POWER BATTERY HOLDER FOR OM-D E-M5/V3281300U000/OPEN BOX/$1
    Jun 09, 2016
Great concept with some more-than-just-slight misses on the details
I bought this handle to extend the batter power on my OMD EM-5 and to make it a bit easier to grip. I find my battery is good for less than 100 photos most days and though I have small hands, I like a bigger grip - plus the vertical orientation controls are an enormous benefit. Unfortunately, though I did a ton of research on this, I did not realize that this is just a battery HOLDER, not a battery PACK. Willful ignorance perhaps; regardless, there's no battery in there folks. That'll cost you about an extra $50, which is dumb considering how expensive the HLD-6 is. And although there's a wonderful AC-in port, it doesn't charge anything. It's just a power source if you happen to want to shoot tethered to a plug, which I do sometimes. But… it's not included either, it'll cost another $100. Now the battery in this thing is easy to get to, but it's just one battery. You can set the camera to draw from it first, then the internal. However, if there's a way to determine which battery you're drawing power from it's escaped me so far. When the dreaded "low on power" notice flashes, it's not just the external battery. It's also the one you've just buried inside your camera, necessitating the removal of the handle, and now you get to charge both batteries. If you don't have 8 hours to spare, this means investing in a second battery charger. That's another $50. So, if you want to really use this holder to it's full potential, you're looking at an additional $200 on top of the price of this unit. Now the positives are, this holder is very, very well built. They thought of everything; it's tight, water resistant, has programmable buttons, Olympus even designed spaces in which to store the watertight connection protectors you'll be removing to connect the holder. It makes the camera feel more like a field camera, which I really appreciate. But with my camera, even doubling the battery does not seem to double my shooting capacity - I still drain both batteries most sessions I shoot. The HLD-6 is a great attempt at a professional level product which falls short of the target by a fair amount. For my needs I'm willing to accept the oversights - measure yours well before you purchase.
