Not As Good As Before, But.....
Nien Nunb has been there done that in the Star Wars line before, but alas the last time he was out, he was far superior to this Force Awakens version of the character.
Sadly, Hasbro's cut out the articulation that made their figures special, and an improvement over the past lines. Now, they're taking figures back to the future, of sorts, by giving them only a few joints and limited poseability. So with that in mind, this figure is sadly inferior to this Vintage Collection counterpart of just a few years ago.
That said, will this figure make your child happy? Well he won't be putting him in cool action poses, but his sculpt and paintjob are nice, he has a blaster pistol, and his goofy piece of equipment as part of the Build A Weapon pack-in thing. I say ditch that and give him some poseability in the arms at least, but hey, whatever.
He's not bad, and may fill a void in your kid's collection, but he's falling short in the fun/entertaining category since you can't really pose him much and just basically stand him there and look at him. Personally I loved GI Joes as a kid because you could pose them in all kinds of action poses. Star Wars doesn't have that going for it any longer, just when it was getting good on Hasbro's part too. Oh well.

Work So Far
So far so good... significantly less buying tubes off EBay over Tractor Supply, by absurd amounts.
Got these for an old gump tractor and they’re perfect.

Iffy Likeness, Lacking Articulation
The title basically says it all.
Hasbro has cut articulation back to 1980's levels of quality, and this isn't the most amazing Harrison Ford likeness either. Paint apps are iffy at best on this particular figure too, so what you get shipped to you will vary greatly.
The almost complete lack of poseability (after many years now of excellent articulation) really makes this figure feel like a miss.
The costume sculpt, the colors on the uniform and such, they're great. Also the ability to holster his pistol? That's a really cool feature and glad they're including it. But the inability to have Han in dynamic firing poses, running, gunning, and having fun with his furry cohort, is disappointing to adult collectors and kids alike I imagine.
A Lego has more poseability to it! Come on Hasbro! :(
