I'm extremely happy with my new water collider.
5 of 5 found this helpful It only took a few minutes and a couple dozen shots to get the system setup and fine-tuned. Now that I've got the logistics down, I'll start playing with refraction and other lighting techniques.
The sample image I've supplied was with a red base liquid and blue dye in the drops. I used a martini glass to ensure I have a good deep center to create the energy for a nice upward spike.
If you've ever played around with taking photos of liquid, you will appreciate having 100% control over the drop size, location, timing, and even connection to the shutter release.
This is a well built system, and a great value. It works better than I anticipated.
