Works as advertized
Using it with CHIRP and my VX5-R. Works flawlessly on Linux. If you do use it on Linux, remember to select the USB port at the bottom of a very long list of com ports!

Not quite the same
Although it claims to be a direct replacement for the original Winnebago part, it is slightly lighter duty. I found that it does not hold as much weight as the original which held 95 lbs. I can say that because. I have 2 doors one with this spring sags compared to a new original part.
