Good enough.
1 of 1 found this helpful While not really a fan of piezo pickups especially for ukes (it was what the client wanted) , this one is pretty good. The output level is ok and the tone is the best I've heard from a piezo in a uke. Good amplification is a must though.

Good value upgrade
I used this to replace an ebony bridge on an Eastman jazz box for a more bluesy sound. The base required some modification but the unit is well made and easy to work with. The adjustable rollers are quite solid - no rattles or buzzes with the medium gauge strings used.

Nice surprise
These are quite lightweight and thin which I thought would be disappointing but they actually work very well and are easy to shape securely to the fingers. They are proper stainless so nonmagnetic, which is what I wanted. The lightness means that you get less of the clicking noise that can be very noticeable on recordings.
The only negative thing was that they have rough edges as they come that need to be ground smooth. Do that and you have very usable picks.
