Late EXP. date but still good.
Typically 1 lb. of matcha is between $19 - $24.00 this was only $14.00, I now see why, after trying it I was happy with my purchase, only after leaving feedback did I realize the reason for the discount.
The tea I received had a best by date of last month. I am still pleased with the quality for the price as it is packed in stainless steel and has an oxygen absorber inside that seems to have preserved it well, but I am a matcha novice so what do I know. has a dull green color much like spirolina powder and tastes fine to me.
I will be asking about freshness dates next time.

I I did not read the label before I bought it, contains petroleum based food food dyes, for a health supplement, these are not healthy.
