Good small amplifier but needs 2 improvements to design
This amp kit does work well for a smaller audio amp. If you know soldering it's not too difficult to get working. However there are 2 things that do need improving. 1st is there is no heat sink for the IC itself and it DOES need 1 so you'll have to get it separately but should really be included. Other detail that needs work is there are no mounting points on the board. This was done to keep the board small but having a way to mount the board is more important. Having 2 holes to mount screws & standoffs won't make it much bigger & this is really a must.

Definately accurate enough to check the guitar frets well enough without stew-macs crazy prices.
