Slash 4x4 with Proline 2.8” White Bash Armor
This is hands down the toughest RC Car body I’ve found. I have not had it long but I have seriously abused it with no problems. It’s been launched 15’ up at the skate park and bounced off its top in bad crashes a few times with no breaks.
It does add a lot of weight and protection. Original Body 185g. Proline 2.8 White Bash Armor around 500g. That being said it helps keep the car on the ground on 3s batteries and adds a lot of protection to the car. I hit a pole 35-40mph head on to one front wheel. Normally that would have broke a Control Arm, Bent a Shock, C-Hub Etc. But the body took the hit and bounced off with no damages other than scratches.
So Yes I recommend if you are using 2.8” wheels. and I recommend 3s Batteries to Cary the extra weight.
