Not a Performance Strut
1 of 1 found this helpful I have had three sets of struts on this car. Stock Honda, Tokico HP Blue, and Koni Str.t. Stock Honda had a crisp ride and decent handling for 70K miles. Softened up after 70K but not too bad that it was unpleasant so I installed Tokico Blues at 140K. Provided a good ride without being abrupt, jittery, or sharp. Tokico Blues made the car very responsive really fun to drive without being painful. They did become sharp on small bumps and busy on every other bump in the road after logging 60K on them. With the hope of recapturing that fun-to-drive quality, I installed Koni Str.t struts at 240K and noticed an immediate softness and a lack of damping effect. Feels softer than stock on all bumps, isnt fun to drive, isnt as responsive and I am disappointed. Have been on the car for one week so hard to comment on the quality but so far no leaks. These would be a fair replacement for stock as they offer a lifetime warranty, ride like stock, and are reasonably priced. They just arent what Im looking for on my car.

Ok for the money
2 of 2 found this helpful Basic easy to assemble. Decently (is that a word?) finished pressboard. Couple of screw holes were stripped even before attempting to tighten at all. They do the job. Cable management is fine. Do like the plastic spikes that aren’t too sharp so don’t damage floors. I’m looking for better ones.
