GREAT SERIES--CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH IT AGAIN!
I can't review the quality of the DVD because I haven't had time to watch it yet--but I did receive it very quickly, which I so appreciate. I originally watched this series on PBS and never forgot about it. It was fascinating--they traced the origins of "accents" back to the countries of origin, and the people groups who contributed to the various accents we hear now in the english speaking world.
I can't wait to watch it again, some 25 years later.

WONDERFUL MOVIE!!!
I love this movie and hadn't seen it since it came out in 1968. It was even better than I remembered--the acting, the costumes, the music, the rich Shakespearian dialogues, sumptuous. I gave it 1 star below fantastic because the color in some scenes seem to have faded, but overall, wonderful and a feast for the eyes and ears.
