Cheap price, OK hole
1 of 1 found this helpful IT punches a hole but the quality of the hole is lacking.
The tolerance of the die is not very good and the holes we made were of not of the quality I would hope for.
It is faster than a jig saw.

A must have!
I wish I had purchased one of these 10 years ago.
Pro's
Speed and accuracy
So much faster setting an accurate zero on my machine than using an edge finder
Made it really easy to dial in the backlash compensation
Way faster to set the vice up than using an indicator
Con's
The unit is rather large, I don't have a lot of Z available on my machine and I need to be careful when the vice is close.
Barely had enough adjustment when setting it up to compensate for concentricity.
Conclusion
It only takes me about 90 seconds to find my X and when I do it is dialed right in.
I find myself checking my zeros a lot more often because it is so fast and easy and this has help me dial in my parts even further. I can usually hold tolerance now to +/- .001 without a lot of effort.
