Quality product. No lag or missed notes. Works fine with Windows 10. Recommended.
This product works perfectly with Windows 10. There's no discernible lag at all, so it's excellent for my purposes, playing VST instruments (on Cakewalk by Bandlab).
It says in the instructions that it doesn't work with USB3 ports that aren't fully backward compatible with USB2. I thought all USB3 ports were backward compatible, but the UM-ONE didn't like the USB3 on the front of my HP Pavillion desktop PC. But it worked fine with the USB2 port on the back.
The instructions in the pack say you have to install drivers and do things carefully in the right order, but if you look at the HP advice online, it says that since Windows 10, you just plug it in and it downloads the drivers and installs itself. So after a bit of dithering about whether to download drivers or not, I decided to just plug it in. The online instructions were correct. It just sorted itself out and worked first time.
One thing which threw me for a moment was the labelling on the USB plugs. For example, at a glance, they seem to be labelled IN and OUT. But if you look more closely at the OUT plug, it says "Connect to MIDI OUT." Which means the one with OUT written on it is actually MIDI IN ( if you see what I mean.) Just me being stupid and not reading the instructions really.
One other slight problem I had was connecting my (very old) Evolution MK-149 keyboard to the UM-ONE. I used a third-party 12v power supply with it and it seemed to be working (the keyboard power light came on), but it wouldn't talk to the UM-ONE. I was just about to give up, when I decided to try another 12v power supply from an old modem I had lying around. As soon as I did that, it worked perfectly with the UM-ONE. So I'm presuming this was a problem specific to my keyboard, perhaps outputting no/incorrect MIDI data because the voltage from the original power supply was perhaps a bit on the high side?
I'm probably making this all sound more complicated than it really was. I just thought I'd mention these things to make installation easier for you if you decide to buy a UM-ONE.
Basically, the UM-ONE works perfectly and feels like a quality piece of kit that will last. It installed itself straight away in the USB2 socket. There is no discernible time lag at all, which is great for controlling my DAW VST instruments. There are also no phantom or missed notes either. I'd highly recommend it. Just what I needed to use my old USB kit with Windows 10.

Perfect product to convert mono 3.5 mm to stereo 3.5mm jack.
Exactly as described mono mini jack to stereo mini jack converter. Means I can pop my mono mike into my stereo line in without fear of frying anything.
Recommended.

Very happy with the cover.Fits well and looks good.
1 of 1 found this helpful Nice looking silver finish. Easy to fit and big enough to get over my hightop and tow bar.
There is a warning about the straps possibly coming off in extreme gale force winds in the box, but the straps look robust enough to me. The cover has zipped door panels on both sides to allow access without having to remove it. It also has straps on it to tighten the material up once you've managed to get it on the van, so it's not flapping about once it's fitted.
It's noticeably cheaper than other brands I've seen on offer and I'm very happy with it. It looks a lot more pleasing to the eye than I was expecting. It was also delivered promptly and on time, which also helps.
Good product from a good firm.
