D-Link DES-1005E 5-Port 10/100 Desktop Switch

Good performance, nice form

Not that there's a ton to write about a network switch, but the DES-1005E delivers the promised performance in a very nice, small, sleek form factor. If you like boxy, stackable network gear, don't get this; it's designed to be 'in public', but unobtrusive; I have mine sitting under my TV to link up XBox and media server to my network. Both the switch and the power supply are small, which I highly appreciated. Performance is as advertised, and was a huge upgrade from previous 10MB switch.

It's an excellent intermediate paddle for all types of players. Has very good control, decent power and good spin. I was able to immediately make shots with it.

Nicely designed; very visible

Nice plastic frame, with very visible fraternity name. Have already gotten a few comments from people who noticed it. One possible design improvement: add plastic projection to back to fit into bottom license plate holes, since it rattles loudly when I close my hatch-back. Not really a big issue; just a suggestion.
