HP Photosmart C6280 Printer
1 of 1 found this helpful This printer was a snap to install and it works perfectly.
The printing is clear and consice even in "economy" mode. Scanning to PDF is easy too. The software with the printer sizes web pages so that both sides print. That was one of the problems with my previous printer.
The price was nice too. Maybe because it does not have a built in fax machine. Those are almost obsolete anyway. I do all my faxing electronically.
As near as I can tell, this printer came out in February of 2008. That means it should be supported by HP for a couple of more years.
My only complaint - There is a stupid little window that pops up every two or three days. It that minimizes whatever you are doing and asks if you want to search for printer updates. There is probably a way to get rid of it, but i have not figured out how yet.

Nice Low Cost Remote.
The software to program this remote was easy to find on Logitech. I set this up so one button turns on both TV and Cable Box. Then selected my Favorite Channels. Done. There at lots more options that could be programmed like closed captioning and TV inputs. Leaving those for another day.
Works just fine, all the buttons respond and it looks like new.
