1 of 1 found this helpful After countless days of research in an effort to ensure that I purchase the CORRECT COMPATIBLE display for my MacBook (A1398 MacBook Pro Retina 15-inch) I hit a home run with this purchase.
I refused to pay $350+ for a brand new display mainly because I couldn't afford it. I was hesitant initially in regards this item because of the price compared to the others on eBay but this worked out extremely well.

Grade B is an understatement, I received a A+ item.
INSTALLATION:
Watched a video on YouTube
Be very careful during installation.
Use the correct screwdrivers (P5, T5, T8)
Don't waste your time buying individual screwdrivers might as well purchase a kit for the long haul.
I recommend the ifixit 64 bit driver tool kit (google it)
STATUS:
Day 1, so far so good.
