Problem solved
Bought the wrong size stem, instead of buying the wrong size handlebar to match, I bought this shim. Now I can use my old bars until I'm ready to upgrade.

OE upgrade
Perfect for 1x conversion with V brakes. I didn't know these come in 2 finger or 3 finger length, be sure to get the right one!

OE Style replacement
Bolts right on, no need for hacking up the wires. Replaced a cracked original clamp.
