Great to learn

I started playing it a few years ago to learn to play the bass. I found it very easy to pick up after a few days. The tutorials will help you break some of the habits that novice players do (and I still do from time to time.) The only drawback for the console version is you will get bored playing the same songs. The PC/MAC versions will keep you interested longer due to the the features of importing and designing your own music. If you can't fix the buzzing through your guitar, there are many online solutions to remedy these common issues. Most seem to revolve around the calibration techniques used for your guitar.
