These are not D5S "Replacement" bulbs
Do not be fooled by the title. These are not D5S replacement bulbs. If you have D5S bulbs from the factory, you cannot replace them with these. The factory Philips bulb is a ballast, ignitor, bulb combination that requires 1 connection to be made at the base of the ballast. This product has wires running from that point that cannot be removed for the factory harness to plug in to. Instead, the wires run to 4 connections that must be made, none of which match the factory connection. The seller replied that these bulbs do not include an ignitor; which means that you would have to purchase a separate ignitor kit, if it even exists, and run more wires. A replacement bulb would replace your existing bulb, which these do not. These are conversion bulbs of some sort, but I'm not sure for what.
