Highest honors go to this refreshingly truthful & helpful research aid in the field of treasure hunting.
1 of 1 found this helpful This collected bibliography shows many sources of research info. in the field of historical appreciation, & relic/treasure hunting which have ALL been read & briefly described by Karl Von Mueller. Karl was the trusted Miners' Miner, & unlike other treasure bibliographies, he DIDN'T list books just because he was paid to do so! This is the same author who provided at least 9 truthful books on the subject of treasure hunting, & brought The National Prospector's Gazette into the public eye for various hobbies with articles still stand up to scrutiny to this very day. Well organized & well written--well--GO GET IT!

I highly recommend Treasure Hunter for its' original REAL first person stories, seeing as the old books & legends are grossly exaggerated
This author is no armchair adventurer! Jameson lays out his exciting, harrowing, & sometimes just insane soldier of fortune treasure hunting adventures with a hefty helping of common sense--mostly. Personally, I wouldn't shimmy through a coffin diameter-sized active hibernaculum...Oops! Spoiler Alert! What's a hibernaculum? Look it up! That means Research, & the Big R is what gave most of his adventures a fair chance of success before he ever stepped into the field.
I would've liked to see his research process in this book, but his Finding Treasure: A Field Guide covers his general research. I especially liked his consideration of restoring everything on the surface as he found it--not even taking a picture to remember a successful hunt. Leave no trash, cover all holes, & leave no trace. Those who haven't followed this time-tested advice have made & are making the treasure hunting & prospecting hobby grow more difficult for the rest of us--bringing politics & greed into something good.

Great Western Entertainment!
The Have Gun Will Travel brand new complete set arrived within the first 2 days of projected delivery dates. The added taxes were a bit of a start, seeing as the rare new products I've bought on line didn't charge tax--unless it was already added to the total without mentioning the word "TAXES"--obviously I'm not quite familiar with the tax rules. Still a great value though, and I can't wait to get started binge watching!
