It works great for the right size and portable viewing

I bought this because I had walked into Frys Electronics and saw this model and the Fire HDX 8. The eight felt to big, weighty and priced kind of high for what I was looking for. The Fire HD 6 felt just right and size, price and feel was what I was looking for. The apps. I needed were there and for casual entertainment viewing it is perfect. I use Sling TV, Netflix, the normal social media apps. YouTube and all the benefits of being an Amazon Prime member. I use it in conjunction with a Hype Bluetooth speaker box for excellent sound. I really love it.
