Barely remanufactured
1 of 1 found this helpful It's "remanufactured" -- the main casing has been painted, I hope the electronics were inspected (because they are obviously old/original, including the wires & connectors), and I really hope the internal oil seal and bearing were replaced. The external O ring is new, at least.
I bought this because my original distributor on my 1988 Corolla All-Trac was leaking oil very badly from the internal oil seal. This reman unit works fine in my All-Trac. Note that my application is a bit unique. My original dizzy has a third connector for checking RPMs (and has green connectors). The reman dizzy that I got does not (and has grey connectors).
Anyways this dizzy works fine, but remember that "remanufactured" usually means "taking something old, testing it, repainting it, replacing a few things, and selling it." Costs more than it should for what it is.

Good enough!
Great "budget" priced radiator. I had bought one of these several years ago which I ended up shoehorning into my 1988 Toyota Corolla, and that one has been working fine with no problems. Which is why I bought this one, for an EG Civic this time.
My only problem with this radiator is that the top radiator mount post (where the top bracket holds it) seems like it's just slightly too short, and is sort of digging into the bottom of the rubber grommet. But that could be the fault of the bracket so I wouldn't hold it against the radiator.
Also the OEM radiator fan / shroud doesn't seem to be in quite the correct place, being just a little over to the right (by the overflow tank). But not a big deal. For the price, you can't beat this. Cooling a stock B18C1 with no issues.

Great raptor deco
Too bad it was available in such limited numbers in actual stores. I found out too late that this was mostly available online only at Walmart's site.
