Tried one of each
And then threw the rest of them away. Harsh, with heavy notes of old cheap coffee. Dont bother.

Back to Buck
1 of 1 found this helpful I used to be a big Buck advocate back in the 70's when they made really good hunting knives. As many companies starting outsourcing their products to China and other asian countries, the quality went down hill. And Buck was no different, many of their knives were junk. But recently over the last couple of years, Ive noticed more of my hunting buddies using them again. So, I bought this one as a test Buck knife and it so far has exceeded my expectations. I put a razor edge on it, and it has held up extremely well. The overall quality, look and feel of this knife is really good. Buck has won me back as a loyal customer with this one.
Thanks Ron

Just Passin' Thru
I bought this book after reading several other reviews. I found the book captivating and held my interest enough so where I had trouble putting the book down at night. I typically read before bed and fall asleep while reading, but with this book, I forced myself to stay away and continue reading. I have day hiked the App Trail for years and love it, but this book shed a new light on the many folks that thru hike the entire trail. I was disappointed after reading the book when I found that Winton had sold the store and moved on with his life. But life goes on and the people running Mountain Crossings do a good job there, though dont seem to have the personality that Winton did.
Enjoy the book for what it is, pure entertainment.
Thanks
