cheap counterfeit or worse
This is falsely advertised as fiber re-inforce plastic but it's cheap grade nylon or worse. After 3 months the whole mounting ridge disintegrated (pulverized) and the unit fractured in hwith That's with it never been shot withaircraft grade jus mounted. Wal-Mart has aircraft aluminum models for $40, save money and do it right the 1st time.

hybrid bike fender
this is a cool accessory. snaps on and off with the rain season. its amazingly simple but in my case it took some tinkering to get it to fit my fuji bike. i wouldn't recommend it for a mountain bike that is used off road - it likely would not stay on or mud up. it is not too obvious so it looks decent. i looked at various models, made several offers and bids ti finally come across this for 10$.
