Great Deal
Came in better shape than expected for a receiver of it's age. Works perfectly and sounds great. I bought this one because another member had tried to sell the same model for too much money. When he decided to re-list at a lower price, i realized that the money he dropped from the price had been added to the shipping costs. That turned me from that seller so i bid on this one, and i'm glad i did.
Good Technics receivers are becoming harder to find, so to be able to get one of these at a good price is great.

Fragile.
These covers look good but are probably the most fragile covers I've ever installed. Cracked two of them while installing them and when I went to remove them to remove ice that had built up behind them that caused the tires to become unbalanced and they came off in pieces. Went to Walmart and bought covers from them to replace these and they installed perfectly. My experience is that these are too fragile and basically garbage.

Excellent camera. One of the best bridge cameras ever made.
I have owned the previous model, the FZ30 for years and have been looking to upgrade to the FZ50 but couldn't find a decent deal on Ebay until this one showed up. The camera looks and functions like brand new. It seriously looks like it just came from the factory. It may not be the most modern model available, but these cameras are workhorses and take excellent photos. My main reason for wanting this one was that the it has a maximum ISO of 1600 and 3200 in high sensitivity mode where the FZ30 only goes to 400 and has no high sensitivity mode. The FZ30 is great in daylight but hand held shots in dimmer conditions are difficult. The FZ50 takes care of that. I have a TZ1 that has the high sensitivity mode and that has allowed me to get shots, although somewhat noisy, that otherwise i'd never get. The FZ50 has that same setting and it works great. I'll probably never carry my DSLR with me now that i have this one. If you're looking for a camera that looks and handles like a DSLR and can find one of these online, grab one while you can. That Leica lens is worth it.
