It's a great battery but...
1 of 1 found this helpful After the battery on my e46 BMW key fob seemed to stop working, I searched everywhere for a VL2020 battery that would be a perfect fit and replacement for the old one. Shipping time was amazing (it arrived in about 2 days) and when the battery arrived, it was a perfect fit the only problem was that the battery was dead. Now I'm aware that some of the batteries may be discharged upon arrival and you must follow the steps to recharge the battery but after leaving the battery in the car on the "On" position for over 8 hours, (not including all of the time the key was in the switch while I was driving) I had no luck. I am certain that that installation of the battery to the control board went on perfectly so I have to assume it is the battery. Still a great buy if your battery turns out to be somewhat charged.
