BRAND NEW MB QUALITY PART
GENUINE Mercedes light! The original one mounted on my w126 shattered when replacing the bulb. 35+ years plus sun damage would do that. Was relieved to find that new genuine lights are still available for a VERY good price. The new brake light assembly that I received was manufactured in 2013 and packaged in 2016. That means it has fresh, pliable plastic that will likely last another 35 years. A+ 👍

UPDATE: Not worth it
The first one they sent me was dented and scratched. They wanted me to take it for a lesser price, but I refused. They ended up swapping it out for a perfect one.
Other than that headache, it fit perfectly and the paint matches well.
UPDATE 05/2020:
Paint has faded badly, and will need a repaint. Look for a different brand.
