Good quality replacement
Not with VW logo or part number but an exact fit and identical in appearance. Cheaper than original VW including delivery.

Well made and effective at removing woodsmoke smells coming into our household HRV system
I use this on the intake to our house’s Heat Recovery Ventilation system (HRV). It removes the stench from our neighbours’ woodburning stove. Though some slight smell still penetrates the house, it is pretty effective. The HRV system is intended to run continuously but, without this filter, I had to climb into the attic to switch it off when the woodburner smoke was bad. I put more info about this problem on my website (Search for "Practical Analysis of a domestic HRV system")
The Rhino filter is well made with few sharp edges and is both slightly larger and heavier than the cheaper generic one I installed initially. The HRV system only draws 108 cubic metres per hour and this filter is rated at 500, so I anticipate it will generously outlast the generic one’s 2 years.
Every 3 months, I wash the outer sleeve dust filter and rotate the filter drum 90° to ensure all areas are used.

Accurately made, very useful discs
Top quality cutting discs but fragile - they break easily if knocked sideways - hence it's a good idea to have some spares!
