Great for mid span coax grounding

These units work great for grounding your coax to a ground rod by attaching the flange to copper allround then strapping it to the ground rod. Simply cut the coax where you want to add the ground rod, put pl-259's on the ends and use this coupler.I used it on an end fed half wave to ground shield currents and create a static discharge path, also lowering my noise level. So far the unit has handled 1kw at hf. Give it try!
