Not genuine, but passable
2 of 2 found this helpful Definitely not genuine. It's an off-brand trying to pass as a genuine product by MSI. I'm only giving 3 stars because the product, although fake, does perform satisfactorily.
The paint on the keys are thicker than the original, so some symbols like the Windows key appear almost as a single big blob instead of having clear lines separating the 4 squares.
The backlight works but again, due to the bad paint and also different materials used on the keys, the keys itself don't light up nearly as much as the original one. It's still usable at night though.
The writings on the back (manufacturer info, model number, etc) are very similar to the original one but you can tell it's either a fake, or MSI have really dropped the ball hard on manufacturing standards these latest years.
