    First of all, my apologies for your trouble. To set the record straight, I did not ignore your communication. My computer went down for 2 weeks coincident with some urgent issues that took my attention during that time. As soon as I got back up I tried to contact you, but by that time it was to late. This is the 1st negative feedback I have had in over 20 yrs on ebay. I know this doesn't help you and again I'm sorry for the trouble I caused you.Rocknrollgen

TOSHIBA SATELLITE L505 L505D AMD 2GHZ 2GB Laptop NO BATTERY 120GB NO OS

A 30 second hard drive swap and my laptop is back up and running!
Exactly what I wanted! My L505 died (probably motherboard, so I found this one on ebay, Working but with no operating system and no battery. Swapped the hard drive, put in the battery and had my laptop back up and running! Didn't need an operating system, already had Linux (19.3 "Tricia") running on my hard drive. Swapped my 2Gb memory for the new system's 1Gb to gain a gig of memory. May at some time in the future swap out my 2.2 GHz dual core CPU for the new system's single core 2.0 GHz CPU. In the meantime I have a working system back for the price of a motherboard, without the hassle of replacing it!
